Do you actively take part in the building's Emergency Planning Committee (EPC)?

Does the EPC meet at least annually to discuss the validity of the emergency plan and highlight any issues with emergency planning initiatives at your facility?

Do you have a qualified Fire Safety Advisor (FSA) nominated for the tenancy?

Do you keep up-to-date records of your tenancy's emergency planning efforts and have this information easily accessible if and when needed?

Do you have a written emergency plan that documents the systems, strategies and procedures relating to the response and management of emergencies within your tenancy?

Is your plan specific to your tenancy and integrate with the building's emergency plan?

Has your emergency plan been reviewed and updated in the last 12 months?

Does your emergency plan include specific procedures to sufficiently address the following:

Is there a procedure in place to ensure that mobility impaired occupants complete a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (P.E.E.P.)?

Do you have Emergency Evacuation Diagrams and Signs installed in conspicuous locations throughout your tenancy?

Do the Evacuation Diagrams include the following compliance features? :

Does your tenancy have an appropriate number of wardens nominated?

Is the Warden list is reviewed at least monthly to ensure that it kept up to date?

Do your Wardens know how to appropriately communicate with the building's Chief Warden during an emergency situation?

Has every member of the warden team received training relevant to their role in the last 6 months?

Is the warden team provided with apparel that is worn during emergency situations to assist occupants in identifying them? This may include coloured helmets, hats, vests etc.

Do all occupants within the tenancy partake in a practice evacuation exercise at least once per year?

Do all occupants of the tenancy receive training to enable them to act in accordance with the emergency response procedures?
